Recipe Description

Basic cider

  • Batch Size: 1 gal (3.8 L)
  • Boil Size: 0.5 gal (1.9 L)
  • Boil Time: 60 mins

Ingredients

  • Grains/Fermentables
  • 450 g (15.87 oz) apple juice (20 °L)
  • 500 g (17.64 oz) Table Sugar (Sucrose) (1 °L)
  • Yeast
  • Lalvin ICV D-47 (Dry)

Directions

Hold in primary fermentor for 28 days at 64 °F (18 °C).

Transfer to secondary fermentor for 28 days at 64 °F (18 °C).
