  • Boil Size: 3 gal (11.4 L)
  • Boil Time: 60 mins

Ingredients

  • Grains/Fermentables
  • 2 lbs (0.91 kg) CaraPils (2 °L)
  • 2 lbs (0.91 kg) Crystal 20 (20 °L)
  • 0.5 lbs (0.23 kg) Caramel 10L (10 °L)
  • 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg) Light Liquid Malt Extract (4 °L)
  • 2 lbs (0.91 kg) Orange Blossom Honey (4 °L)
  • 6 lbs (2.72 kg) Light Dry Malt Extract (4 °L)
  • After Boil
  • 5 oz (141.75 g) Corn Sugar (Dextrose) (0 °L)
  • Hops
  • 2 oz (56.7 g) Citra 11% AA (Boil - 60 mins)
  • 2 oz (56.7 g) Citra 11% AA (Boil - 30 mins)
  • 2 oz (56.7 g) Citra 11% AA (Boil - 15 mins)
  • 2 oz (56.7 g) simcoe 13% AA (Boil - 5 mins)
  • 2 oz (56.7 g) simcoe 13% AA (Dry Hop)
  • Yeast
  • California Ale Yeast (Whitelabs WLP001) (Liquid)

Directions

Soak grains in 2 gallons water @ 155 for 30 minutes.
Top off to 3 gallons, add DME, and bring to boil.
Add LME at 30 minutes
Add Honey @ 15
Transfer to Primary - Top off to 5 Gallons
Pitch Yeast
Dry Hop In Secondary for 3-5 Days
Bottle Condition for 1 Week

Hold in primary fermentor for 10 days at 72 °F (22 °C).

Transfer to secondary fermentor for 7 days at 72 °F (22 °C).

Allow to carbonate and age for 7 days at 72 °F (22 °C).
