A rough first attempt to emulate the Orange Blossom brewed by Papago Brewery in Scottsdale AZ.

  • Batch Size: 1 gal (3.8 L)
  • Boil Size: 1.5 gal (5.7 L)
  • Boil Time: 60 mins

Ingredients

  • Grains/Fermentables
  • 1.5 lbs (0.68 kg) White Wheat (2 °L)
  • 0.5 lbs (0.23 kg) Belgian Pilsner 2-Row (2 °L)
  • Hops
  • 5 g (0.18 oz) Saaz (Czech) 3% AA (Boil - 60 mins)
  • 3 g (0.11 oz) Amarillo 9.5% AA (Boil - 5 mins)
  • Miscellaneous
  • 12 g (0.42 oz) Sweet Orange Peel (Boil - 5 mins)
  • 1/2 tbsp (7.39 mL) Vanilla Flavor (Primary)
  • 5 g (0.18 oz) Coriander Seed (Boil - 15 mins)
  • Yeast
  • American Wheat Yeast (Wyeast 1010) (Dry)

Directions

Infusion Step: Mash at 154 °F (68 °C) for 60 minutes.

Recommended Sparge: 172 °F (78 °C)

Hold in primary fermentor for 14 days at 65 °F (18 °C).

Allow to carbonate and age for 14 days at 65 °F (18 °C).
