Ingredients

  • Grains/Fermentables
  • 7.5 lbs (3.4 kg) 2-Row Malt (2 °L)
  • 2 lbs (0.91 kg) Crystal 10 (10 °L)
  • After Boil
  • 4 oz (113.4 g) Corn Sugar (Dextrose) (0 °L)
  • 2 lbs (0.91 kg) Diced Mango (4 °L)
  • Hops
  • 2 oz (56.7 g) Amarillo Pellet 9.5% AA (Boil - 60 mins)
  • 0.5 oz (14.17 g) Amarillo Pellet 9.5% AA (Boil - 15 mins)
  • 0.5 oz (14.17 g) Amarillo Pellet 9.5% AA (Boil - 5 mins)
  • Miscellaneous
  • 2 Diced Habenero Peppers (Secondary)
  • Yeast
  • American Ale Yeast (Wyeast 1056) (Liquid)

Directions

Soak (Infusion): Mash at 152 °F (67 °C) with 2 gal (7.57 L) of water for 30 minutes.

Recommended Sparge: 170 °F (77 °C)

Do the grains, extract, and hops as usual. pitch yeast and ferment for 7 days. transfer to secondary and add:
1) 5 mangoes, chopped and boiled
2) 2 habeneros, chopped and soaked in vodka

ferment for an additional 7-14 days as necessary. bottle and age for 14 days.

Hold in primary fermentor for 7 days at 66 °F (19 °C).

Transfer to secondary fermentor for 14 days at 66 °F (19 °C).

Allow to carbonate and age for 14 days at 66 °F (19 °C).
