  • Batch Size: 5 gal (18.9 L)
  • Boil Size: 6.5 gal (24.6 L)
  • Boil Time: 60 mins

Ingredients

  • Grains/Fermentables
  • 10 lbs (4.54 kg) 2-Row Malt (2 °L)
  • 1 lbs (0.45 kg) Crystal 40 (40 °L)
  • 8 oz (226.8 g) Midnight Wheat (550 °L)
  • 4 oz (113.4 g) Chocolate Malt (350 °L)
  • Hops
  • 2 oz (56.7 g) Columbus Pellet 15% AA (Boil - 15 mins)
  • 1 oz (28.35 g) Nugget Pellet 13.35% AA (Boil - 15 mins)
  • 1 oz (28.35 g) Columbus Pellet 15% AA (Boil - 0 mins)
  • 1 oz (28.35 g) Nugget Pellet 13.35% AA (Boil - 0 mins)
  • 1 oz (28.35 g) Columbus Pellet 15% AA (Dry Hop)
  • 1 oz (28.35 g) Nugget Pellet 13.35% AA (Dry Hop)
  • Yeast
  • American Ale Yeast (Wyeast 1056) (Liquid)

Directions

Mash (Infusion): Mash at 153 °F (67 °C) with 4.4 gal (16.66 L) of water for 120 minutes.

Hold in primary fermentor for 14 days at 73 °F (23 °C).

Allow to carbonate and age for 14 days.
