Ingredients

  • Grains/Fermentables
  • 2.5 kg (5.51 lb) 2-Row Malt (2 °L)
  • 1.36 kg (3 lb) Crystal 20 (20 °L)
  • 0.14 kg (0.31 lb) CaraRed (20 °L)
  • Hops
  • 29 g (1.02 oz) Saazer Pellet 4.7% AA (Boil - 60 mins)
  • 14 oz (396.89 g) Saazer Pellet 4.7% AA (Boil - 30 mins)
  • Miscellaneous
  • 10 g (0.35 oz) Irish Moss (Boil - 15 mins)
  • Yeast
  • Dry English Ale Yeast (Whitelabs WLP007) (Dry)

Directions

Infusion Step: Mash at 72 °C (162 °F) with 6 L (1.59 gallon) of water for 60 minutes.

Recommended Sparge: 82 °C (180 °F)

Hold in primary fermentor for 14 days at 20 °C (68 °F).

Transfer to secondary fermentor for 14 days at 20 °C (68 °F).

Allow to carbonate and age for 14 days at 20 °C (68 °F).
