Recipe Description

Not a "melt your face with hops" kind of IPA, but rather one you can enjoy on a sunny summer day floating down the river.

  • 11 lbs (4.99 kg) 2-Row Malt (2 °L)
  • 1 lbs (0.45 kg) Crystal 30 (30 °L)
  • 0.5 lbs (0.23 kg) White Wheat (2 °L)
  • Hops
  • 1 oz (28.35 g) Nugget Pellet 13.9% AA (Boil - 60 mins)
  • 0.5 oz (14.17 g) Cascade Pellet 6.6% AA (Boil - 15 mins)
  • 0.5 oz (14.17 g) Cascade Pellet 6.6% AA (Boil - 10 mins)
  • 0.5 oz (14.17 g) Citra Pellet 11% AA (Boil - 10 mins)
  • 0.5 oz (14.17 g) Cascade Pellet 6.6% AA (Boil - 5 mins)
  • 0.5 oz (14.17 g) Cascade Pellet 6.6% AA (Boil - 0 mins)
  • 0.5 oz (14.17 g) Citra Pellet 11% AA (Boil - 0 mins)
  • 1 oz (28.35 g) Citra Pellet 11% AA (Dry Hop)

Directions

Infusion Step: Mash at 150 °F (66 °C) for 60 minutes.

Recommended Sparge: 170 °F (77 °C)

Add dry hops 7 days into secondary fermentation.

Hold in primary fermentor for 7 days at 68 °F (20 °C).

Transfer to secondary fermentor for 14 days at 68 °F (20 °C).

Allow to carbonate and age for 14 days at 68 °F (20 °C).
