  • Alcohol by Volume: 3.5 - 18%
  • IBU: 0 - 0
  • Color:   3 -   30 SRM
  • Original Gravity: 1.035 - 1.170
  • Final Gravity: 0.990 - 1.050

Open style for meads made with experimental ingredients or fermentation techniques which do not fall into any other mead style. Honey should still be the primary fermentable and character should still be present. The strength can vary (hydromel, standard, sack) as well as the overall sweetness (dry, semi-sweet, sweet). They can be both sparkling, petillant (low-carbonation) or still.
