  • Final Gravity: 0.990 - 1.050

Cyser is a special category of melomel or fruit mead which is made with apples, typically cider. Honey is the primary fermentable not the apple juice or cider. The strength can vary (hydromel, standard, sack) as well as the overall sweetness (dry, semi-sweet, sweet). They can be both sparkling, petillant (low-carbonation) or still. Apple character should be present but not overpowering.
