Spiced (or Speciality) Cider

- Color: 3 - 30 SRM
- Original Gravity: 1.045 - 1.100
- Final Gravity: 0.995 - 1.010
Speciality cider covers ciders with additional additives or adjuncts. These additional ingredients may impact the color or alcohol content but apple flavor should still be present. Ciders made with honey may fall into this category if the cider character is the primary flavor. If honey is the dominant character then this would be considered a cyser or apple mead. As with other ciders these may be still or carbonated.
