Gravity Reading: 1.040

OG reading at 5 gallons was 1.042. I added to 5.5 gallons to bring it down to 1.04 to get closer to the OG posted with the recipe.

There was no activity on the air lock. Pitched more yeast in the hopes that it does something.

Gravity Reading: 1.000

Bought a new hydrometer. Gravity reading is right where it should be. Guy at brew store thinks the yeast might have fully fermented the sugars overnight due to the higher temperature in the house 80-85.

Spent longer in secondary than I intended (forgot about the brew). The brew tastes like a flavored water or a powdered drink that didn't use enough powder. Not much of a flavor, but you can tell it's not just water. It's not bad.
