Notes From Feb. 24, 2013 (Brewing)

Gravity Reading: 1.060

The fermentables on the grain bill where a recipe from lompoc brewery, the C note IPA. I added 2 oz of cascade to the mash to see if it would add more of that hop flavor. Notes From March 11, 2013 (Dry Hopping)

Gravity Reading: 1.010

Racked beer into glass carboy, added 2 oz of fuggles that I ground in a coffee grinder. They smelled great! Saved the yeast, wyeast 1056, currently washing them. First time saving yeast, hope it goes well.

racked into the old corny keg, primed with 1/3 cup of corn sugars. smelled fuckn great! I hope in this beer. I have not to date brewed something that I would consider even good. A bit depressing yet true. I go forward with a power that will prevail.

Tasting notes: good nose smell, doesn't have the malt presences i was hoping for. There are residual hops pieces floating around. when I dry hopped it I ground up the hops and threw then directly in the secondary. I wont do that again.
