This was my first all grain batch and I think it turned out great. I only got 4 gallons so that was a little disappointing even more so because the beer is delicious. Not a particularly strong, hoppy or malty beer but just a nice beer. Great clarity and I'm starting to really believe in the 3 week primary particularly for beers with a fair amount of hops. I will surely make this again and this might be a go-to recipe for me when I need a beer that can please a crowd.
Slight spicy/grassy hop taste and little malt character. Copper/caramel in color.

Gravity Reading: 1.050
First all grain brew day went fairly well. Didn't quite hit the gravity I wanted and the final batch volume is also kind of low ~4.5 gallons. Still the mash smelled great and when I put in the first set of hops it was like a wave of lemon.
Pre-boil gravity was 1.042.

After the loss from the trub it only came to 4 gallons (1/2 gallon growler and 36 bottles). Not a very efficient batch but it looks like it's going to be tasty. Crispy hop taste and solid copper color. I'm really happy with the clarity given the amount of hops and in particular the leaf hops. They were a mess when moving to the fermentor. This is the second batch I've put in the primary for 3 weeks with no secondary and I think it really helps.

Beth and I had a small taste last night. One bottle was only 3/4 filled and we decided to put it out of its misery. For being the last bottle it still had great clarity. I love the taste. It's hoppy but to sharp or acidic.
